Open House

Yesterday, I went to attend SCAN Associates open house. This time it was different, since that I’m attending it as a client rather than a staff like past 3 years. This time as well, they didn't organized it outside their premise in Menara Naluri. It was held at Restoran Felda Village.

When I attended it last night, it reminds me of the same event last year. By that time, the day of the event itself was my last employment day with SCAN. I still remember how sad I am when I decided to move on. Well, life moves on and now I’m on the client side.

The menu served I can consider OK. As usual, the main attraction would be Kambing Golek. It’s somehow considered a must have menu in every SCAN open house. Well, it feels great when most of the staff still recognize who you are. Maybe because I was the Vice President for the SCAN sports club last time. So, no wonder people will remember me. I think. Hahahaha.

This week, starting on Saturday lots of my colleagues are having their open house. It will then continue on Sunday. I’m not sure whether I can attend all of it. But I’ll try my best. Only last week was a free time. I just spent the weekend at home and went to lighting shop buying some lights and fans. Forgot to mentioned, I also got a new baby in my house. Guess what it is? Here it is. A SONY BRAVIA Home Theatre system. I’ve been dreaming in owning this type of home theatre and at last I managed to get it. I took a 0% monthly installment from Maybank.

Saving @ Investment

Let’s start with the saving @ investment.
Previously I was approached on the gold investment. But by that time, I’m not too interested on it besides I don’t have enough money for it.
But after reading through www.jutawanemas.com I suddenly realized how good it is. And I just bought some Kijang Emas as a start. So far, in 2 days time the price already increase by RM45. A good start huh.
What is Kijang Emas?

As we all know, the price of gold always appreciate. Compare to the year 2001 the ½ oz cost just about RM580 but now the price already jump to RM1745 (based on today’s price). It’s more than 200% already. I’m not an expert in this area, but you can read further on it here.

Ok. Enough of it. As a conclusion, I think it's really worth it investing in this type of investment since the value of gold always appreciate. And the best thing is we can pass it from one generation to antother.

Aidilfitri

Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Maaf Zahir Batin to all who read my blog.

This year, was the first time I’m celebrating the Aidilfitri with my baby. We just bought her a skirt instead of baju kurung since she’s still too small for a baju kurung. Here’s the picture of her with the skirt. Forgot to mentioned, our theme for this year is green.

As of last year, I’ll usually spend the morning of Aidilfitri at my wife house in Teluk Panglima Garang, Klang. After Zuhur, then we went to my hometown in Ipoh. But for next year, it might change. Since next year, I can only take my Raya leave before the Aidilfitri compare to this year which my turn is after the Aidilfitri.

This Raya as well, besides giving some duit raya my baby also received some duit raya. A total of a few hundreds that my baby managed to get. Tomorrow I’ll bank in the money into her saving account. The sad thing of all the money, my baby got a paper cut from the angpow given. Here’s how the cut looks.

I take a leave today since my babysitter still on Raya holiday. My wife needs to go to the office, so officially today I’m a househusband. So far everything went well. My baby woke up at about 8.30 am. Around 9.00 am I took her to bath and give her some Nestum. After playing around then I put her in the cradle and still sleeping till now. Hope she will continue with her well behave all the day.

Past 2 weeks

Well, it has been sometimes since I last update my blog. Well let me start with some activity that i had last two weeks on the 20 September 2008.
on that day I bring my wife and my daughter for a Buka Puasa event with my university colleagues. It was held at Hotel Sri Petaling. Why we choose that venue?
one of my friends works in the parent company of that hotel. So, we got a cheaper price for the buffet. Every year we had this type of gathering and each year we changed the venue. Well here are the menu served at the hotel.Once we finished with all the meals around 9.30p.m, we then headed to Komplek Sukan Negara Bukit Jalil for a futsal session. Hahahaha. Maybe you might think we're crazy, but that's how we enjoy it.

Last week on 26 September 2008, I had another Buka Puasa event. This time it was organized by one of our vendor at Le Meridien KL. This is the first time I joined any Buka Puasa event organized by the vendor. I received a plenty of invitation but all I had to turned it down considering my wife and my baby alone at our house. This time, my wife let me joined it since its almost end of Ramadhan. Overall I think the food is OK.
By the time i write this post, almost everyone already on leave. This year, I can only take my leave after Raya but next year I can take it before raya. Another sad thing is that my father in law currently admitted in the Hospital Putrajaya. Hope that he can be discharge before Raya. I pray for his wellness.

Ramadhan

It has been a while since I last update my blog. First of all, I went back to my hometown last Friday since Monday was a holiday. On top of that, the main reason for me went back is to get my car repaired. Luckily, it just cost me RM130 for the damages. Here’s the picture of my car with scratch less. Looks like new right?

Today is the second day of Ramadhan. I would like to ask forgiveness from all who reads my blog. Maybe I did write something that might hurt someone or others feelings. Do remember to perform the tarawih. In fact during this month, all the syaitans are tight up.
